Ballet Barre Class.. A fusion workout with a cult following, which pulls the best elements from Ballet, Pilates and Yoga into a 60 minute hybrid strength and cardio class. Hyper effective, Hyper fun! It tones your body and burns fat, all while improving your posture, range of motion and flexibility. The idea of Ballet Barre class is to target specific muscles such as the abdominals, bottoms, inner and back of thighs LOTS in a low impact environment, making it a safe and effective option of training for everyone.

 Due to the nature of the workout, the small range and high repetitions will build massive strength and endurance in your lower body, which will compliment any cardio or strength training regime.

 Sure the foundation of the class is rooted in Ballet in the sense you will work out using the Barre but it is a dynamic, full body workout. Your instructor won’t expect you to show off your best “Swan Lake” at the end of the class. That being said, you will get familiar with the expression “plie” which is French for a glorified sumo squat!
